Product & UX/ UI Designer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for robotic products, from concept to final implementation, ensuring a balance between form, function, and usability
- Develop user-centric product designs that enhance the interaction between humans and robots
- Develop ergonomic and durable physical designs for both wheeled and legged robots, considering real-world environmental conditions, usability, and mechanical constraints
- Define materials, textures, and manufacturing processes that enhance the functionality and durability of the robotic systems
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and prototyping to refine interaction workflows for human operators
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for various robotics applications
- Develop control panel layouts, visual feedback systems, and interaction models that optimize efficiency and ease of use
- Define design guidelines, UI components, and interaction patterns to maintain consistency across products
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration between product design and function
- Align with business and operations teams to ensure product-market fit and alignment with customer needs and industry standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
- Experience designing physical and digital products, ideally in robotics, automation, or hardware-integrated systems
- Strong skills in UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and 3D prototyping tools (e.g., Blender, SolidWorks)
- Understanding of human-centered design principles, ergonomics, and interaction design for robotics and hardware interfaces
- Ability to create detailed wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Familiarity with robotics, embedded systems, or industrial automation is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
